Wednesday - Day 1
| We left Boston
at 9 PM July 18 in Azores Airlines (SATA) and arrived in São
Miguel at 7 AM (local time). José Luis and Paulo Jorge were in the airport waiting for us. Since we could not check-in until 3 PM at SOLMAR we spent the day visiting the highlights of downtown Ponta Delgada, after leaving our luggage at Solmar Alojamentos. Later that day, Paulo Jorge picked us up and we went to his house in LAGOA, where we spent some time together and enjoyed dinner later in the evening. (Stella and I, Michelle, Lisa, Andrew, Lindsay and Madison) |
